Double neck Mandolin

This instrument is a ⅔ replica of the guitar used by Don Felder (The Eagles) on Hotel California, He played a 12 string / 6 string Gibson EDS-1275 but being ⅔ size this instrument has 8 and 4 string necks.

It has steel strings and can be tuned as a mandolin (GDAE), a ukulele (GCEA) or a guitar/baritone ukulele (DGBE).

The pickups are custom made zebra humbuckers and the Tune-O-Matic style bridge and tail piece were also custom made.  The tuners are Onyx Tulip Kluson models scavenged from two Gibson Epiphone guitars.
